Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vs. Standard Pre-Owned
Both are inspected before sale. The difference is coverage: Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicles carry the Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty and added owner benefits, and standard pre-owned vehicles do not.
Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned
To earn certification, a Mercedes-Benz vehicle must meet eligibility criteria and pass inspection. Each Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicle includes:
- Any remaining coverage under the Mercedes-Benz 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty
- The Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty, which adds 12 months of coverage with unlimited miles once the New Vehicle Limited Warranty ends
- The option to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned Extended Limited Warranty for one or two additional years with unlimited miles
- 24-hour Roadside Assistance, including Trip Interruption coverage
- A 7-day/500-mile Exchange Privilege
- Warranty support at more than 300 authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers nationwide

Standard Pre-Owned
Standard pre-owned vehicles include Mercedes-Benz models outside the certification window and vehicles from other makes. They are inspected before sale but do not carry the Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty. Additional coverage is available through AutoNation vehicle protection plans.

Do you sell pre-owned vehicles from other makes?
Yes. Along with pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles, our inventory includes cars, trucks, and SUVs from other makes. Vehicles from other makes are sold as standard pre-owned and are not eligible for Mercedes-Benz certification.
Can I sell or trade in my current vehicle?
